the kit is currently clearing customs and should be arriving within a week or so.

the picked up price at JP is $799

shipping is free for only those who have been contacted (those who have had their order in for a while and have been notified by JP) Please do not contact them for free shipping unless u were contacted first.

I will be occasionally checking in during my vacation so I hope to keep you guys posted as well as i can.

hmm, now i see that they are actually being made in Japan, correct..? that might explain WHY its so high. the only down side i see now is that after you install it, it looks like getting a replacement (if need arises) would be VERY difficult if not impossible unless they are getting the mold sent to them and they will be making them here. Again i really like the way it looks, but there will be problems with bumps i believe with those side skirts, and driving up ramps, plus again getting a replacement in a timely and less costly manner. I am sure that buying a single piece would be half that of what it initially costs... But i will repeat myself in saying that the Kaminari Kit cant be beat in Quality from what i have seen on other kits... Even adding a turbo Kit on the Kaminari design team thought ahead and does not compromise the frontal crash bar/foam....

I will wait to hold my final judgement until its actually been on a drivable tC. Daily Driver that is....

 

I will let you know because this is my daily driver and i will let you know how it fits with intercooler piping coming through on the front bumper when my turbo gets installed...

 

i got the turbo installed and im getting the kit installed. They are stocking the kits in CA so there will be replacements available in the states if necessary. Ok this kit is comparable to the kaminari kit as far as reliability and quality but cant be compared as a whole because it is a lip kit. Keep an eye out for responses from me and Ambition as we are both daily drivers and I got my turbo in so ill keep ya posted.

Sorry for the delay guys, the kit is still going through customs here in the US... Will update with more info as it comes

 

I was informed that the test kit should be arriving at JP USA today in Ontario, CA. Rick told me he was going to get some pics of just the kit itself up before they test fitted it onto a tC. We will see by the end of the day if we see real pics of this kits and not that photoshopped thing anymore.....let's hope for this delay to be put to an end..
