JUST GOT MY NEW GRILLE!!!!
You can cut it out with a dremel. Take the grill out (or just the bumper off) and cut everything except the outter ring and the sides of the old grille so you can still clamp the overlay on.

I ended up making my own fog lights with blue LEDs. Since I have a black car, the black inserts look fine in the day, but with a white car, it's a little more noticable that there is nothing there.
Search the forum and get some ideas of what you want. Being that it's a white car, I suggest fog lights that fit that space or the billet grille overlay. But it's your car and essentially up to you.

Here ya go... here's a pic. (you'll have to excuse the dirty car... it's been raining here and I just took the pic about 5 min ago).

and just so you can see the fog lights that I did (just for an idea, though I don't know if I would do it with a white car and the billet grille - then again, I got the idea from someone who has a white car).
