Came out awesome ... used the dupli color wheel paints, 5 coats bronze 3 coats clear coat, painted the plastic valve cover bronze ...

How do you guys think it would look if i got my hood painted bronze to match the rims ....

 

do not do the hood bronze.... that would be dumb. and plus you might not get the same exact color. it wouldn't match. just saying...

I Did the front 2, doing the back 2 hopefully friday if its nice out.
Ill take pictures as soon as i get the other 2 painted.

Ahhhhhh come on I think it would look sick with a bronze hood with the bronze rims. I want something to color match the rims damnit.

Why do people have the carbon fiber hood with black rims?? Or black hood with black rims???

I don't know that a bronze would look too good. Maybe add some smaller (low key) bronze accents elsewhere.

I think it could look good with gold and color matched rims and only the center part of the hood painted.

I would do a photoshop for you, but I have a research paper to finish.

Do what YOU want to do. Why do you need the blessing of the people in this thread??? It's your car, not theirs, customize it like you want it, period.

 

please if do it right you can rattle can the WHOLE car, its been done and looks great, if you take the time and proper preparation techniques.

 

You probably don't need to strip the paint off, just scuff it a lil bit so the paint sticks.
