Default K2 Projectors

I have dealt with K2 Motors before and had no problems . I am curious as to whether anyone has tried the lights in the following link : http://www.k2motor.com/lhptc05jmbtm.html

They told me in an email they are rated for 4300 + HID systems . Everyone wants a set of good projectors . I have seen nothing about these headlamps . Any advice or thoughts ?

they look like the ones on ebay, and at 4200k, they aren't even hid. if they are sae/dot approved, they are not xenon lights because xenon lights are only legal for vehicles that came equiped with them from the factory.

you want a quality projector headlight for a tc, just wait to buy the 08 tc's headlights

wait why r projectors only rated to a specific color temp, im guessing they would still project the same pattern, regardless of color, right? or am i wrong

WTF? those are the SAME OLD ebay projectors that have been around for forever now. and unless they are offering HID's with them they are overpriced. BTW 4200 IS NOT the same color as a OEM holagen bulb.

in fact i have a set of these same dumb projectors sitting in my house right now that i was sent instead of the Anzo's that i ordered. (seller Effed up)

nothing special about them or different from what i can see. same ol same ol.

BTW the 2008 tC DOES NOT COME WITH PROJECTORS its just a multirefractal setup behind a glass lens. NOT the same as projectors. sorry buddy.

Most (if not all) OEM HID set-ups are rated at 4200-4300K. HID bulbs are HID bulbs regardless of the color rating.

If you look at the enlarged pics, you will see that they aren't projectors.

well i dont trust ANY set to not fog up. so im just gonna put sum more sealant on them anyway. regardless of what u buy they'll be a chance of fogging up. and it doesnt take much more work to put sum silicone or sumthing on them.

Yes, I wish that I could find eyelids that look fairly substantial as opposed to the thin vinyl lids that look like they will blow off at 80 mph.

mm this is a halogen projector buddy. Plus this was the first projector headlight made for the tc

projectors are also not designed for a specific bulb color as well. Go ebay, it's cheaper
