Does anyne have an overhead view of the kaminari cf reverse cowl hood? I only can find side views. I am planning on getting one i love how they look the lowest price I found was $765 is that a good deal also? Also any info will be helpful thanks.
MillerRS1 I think that is a pretty good deal. The Kaminari site have them for $495 before shipping. The shipping would probably put you back up to the $700s.

make sure u dont get the knock offs...
my friends kaminari looks identical compared to my kami hood, but he's hood is much lighter and feels much more week and from the bottom he doesnt have that nice and smooth metal sheet what i have. hes hood from underneath looks like they just painted the bare fiberglass or something.
but both of our hood needed trimming : spacers at the latch and the side. but he's hood fits HORRIBLE anyway

You can purchase directly from Kaminari, figure with shipping on the hood,no matter where you get it it will be around $700-800 shipped to your door total cost.
Seibon also makes very good quality hoods, both in non vented OEM look and vented.
There are a few other hoods out there that are nice but the quality usually is not the best and over time they yellow and crack or do not fit right.
You really do get what you pay for.Kaminari hood is one of the nicest ones on the market, but it is expensive, mine has been on around a year now and still is in new condition.Vent gets header heat out,and the rain really does not hit the motor at all inside through the vent, the Seibon Vented hood is higher and water can hit the motor, making it dirty pretty quickly.

I had ordered mine from www.showstoppersusa.com for $535 plus free shipping. Mine was fiberglass, the carbon fiber is a lil more but also free shipping.
