So, I was definitely thinking about getting the kaminari wing (such as shown in the link below).
I have searched to see if anyone has discussed this before, and I didn't really see anything. Any opinions on the wing? I have the rs 5.0, and since everything's trd I was thinking about getting the TRD kaminari.

Now, I don't know if anyone else has purchased this, but I was hunting for prices and it actually looks like kaminari.com has the cheapest pricing. Has anyone else found anything cheaper?

Any thoughts/opinions/things I should know about the wing? Wasn't really looking to drill, so I was curious if anybody has used double sided tape for it and has worked. Any information would be wonderful! Thanks guys

The wing is not bad.... if you have any other body pieces on the car. If you just have a stock looking car the wing is out of place.

BTW... the Kaminari wing has NOTHING to do with TRD. It's not any actual TRD part at all. They just happen to use it for the celebrity race tCs.

 

kaminari trd wing? um, trd has no afilitaion with kaminari AT ALL. just used for celebrity races how ack said.

and again how ack said, if u have a stock looking tc (meaning no lipkit/bodykit etc/) it will be way out of place, and if u havent seen this wing before on a tc then u need to search alittle better cause i think LOTS of people have it

 

It has the TRD emblem on the side of it which is why I thought it would look nice matching the rs 5.0. I know that it actually has nothing to do with TRD.

Maybe I should have called the topic something else if you guys were gonna yell at me for calling it TRD :\ I just said that because I am looking at the one that has the TRD on it.

when u buy the wing, it doesnt have a TRD badge on it the way the celebrity cars have it, it will have the kaminari badge on it. but of ocurse u can always change it if thats wat u want, but again a wing like that shouldnt be put on a stock looking car

 

Exactly I had my tC for 2 years and now that I look at it I wish I decided to get it with out the pedstal spoiler.

 

On the kaminari website it is called the celebrity wing so I had thought it came with the TRD badge as shown in the pic? Sad if it doesn't

 

u would jus be paying for that badge, u can always jus get one and put it on urself.

no wing unless you have body mods and wide wheels to match.

i bought the ped spoiler, never installed it and i have never regretted it.

 

If you like the wing and want to put it on your car Do it. It's Your Car and Don't worry what anybody says about it

 

just like everyone else....you can buy the wing if you want but it wont look good unless you have the rest like the bumper..the side skirts and so on....it has to flow with the car if you want your car too look even nicer...i think the tc loks better without a spoiler.. now if we talk about the wings on the evo and sti thats a totally different story..do wat u want

 

keep it clean go with a lip spoiler
