imo the kaminari wing is ricey. If you want a spoiler get a lip spoiler. Just a suggestion.

(no offense to anyone that has, or sells kaminari wing's.)

 

no offense taken... at least you're being nice about your comment... mine would be that the Kaminari wing is really expensive, great quality, and slightly flows with the lines of the tC better than other spoilers (non-lip wise)

as for Viniati's spoiler... i got moral reasoning to why i hate it... the design is fine, but to have that company take that design from someone else... that's just immoral. just to let you guys know, a company is working on having the "actual" product being produced (yes... finally after all the bickering and having the viniati issue)... so my opinion there is, don't buy the knock-offs.

can't wait to go to the pro/celeb race in long beach... they got Kaminari on them ya know.

 

Yeah, Viniati i personally don't care for either. I'd love to see someone do a mold-on lip spoiler. A guy i know did that to his 300zx and it looks perfect. Kaminari is a nice spoiler, but its a little too high for my taste. The flow is there, but at the same time is off. The factory spoiler looks worse imo, i know a lot of people like it but personal taste, the tC looks best without any spoiler. But if you were to do one, lip spoiler is the best results..Again, if you ask me. I know others would disagree, which is fine. As long as everybody knows i'm not trying to put down anyones tC or any one company.

 

i don't know of a "mold-on" lip spoiler... but my friend Coi at Motor-FX does have a CF hatch that has the lip spoiler "molded" into it. it looks really good and a few of my friends have it.


i also agree on the factory spoiler... to me.. it doesn't look that bad, and i would say it flows less than the kaminari.. but yeah... it's all on taste.. i've grown to like it (factory ped. spoiler)

same thing with the xB's compared to the xA when they first came out.. it grows on ya.. i love all scions now. i kinda feel bad for the xA though... not many people like it as much as the xB (which was also something Toyota thought as well... i think they made more xA's when Scion first came out, expecting it was going to be more popular, boy were they wrong)

 

Yeah, me too. If it wasn't for the same motor in the xa/xb, the xa would have no aftermarket support. 90% of the aftermarket for the xa/xb is intended for the xb. Luckly though, they have the ist to fall back on but that can only go as far as body kits and the such. Which, some look really good but i'm more of a person that leaves the body stock, except one or two minor things.

I think the tC looks great stock. But the oem lip kit is awful. It looks good on some colors, but i don't like the way it looks. You can tell its put on, it doesn't have that "flawless" look like it should be there. If that makes sense.

As for the mold spoiler, i was talking about doing it custom. Custom can be more expensive, but hey, i'd pay more money to do it right the first time than pay a little less just to have something. Like you said though, all in taste.
