Yeah, make them yourself. People do it all the time. I see red halos on beamers a lot.

build your own bro. Nothing more satisfying than making quality parts yourself.

 

ya i hear ya i just gotta find halos for 08-09 headlamps and just paint them red or get a perm.ink.

you gotta measure the size of the circle around the projector then order the appropriate size CCFL tube and wire them up (best way)

or get an acrylic rod and bend it and add red leds. (the cheap way)

 

thinkin about ccfl tubes.

 

and if i get them how can i make them red??

 

I do believe that you can buy CCFLs that are already red.

hell no lol not gonna lie

 

they come in red,orange,pink,blue and white,and green.............the ones I found were via google and theywere on a dodge charger that they did a retrofit to.......turned out great,there are several sizes available......no go hunt......lol

In fact if you put in CCFL angel eyes and goto page 2 of gthe google hits you will find a site that sells them for BMWs and on that site they even have HIDs with the halos built in,these could make a nice retro project,they are a little spendy and it does not give sizes,but they are for BMWs so whatever those sizes are is what they will fit......
