Default keyed :/

last week my back bumper got keyed. i'm pretty sure it happened at school. i even park all the way down at the end of the basement were its a dead end. geez seriously.. these punks got nothing better to do. the scratch was pretty long imo. now i asked my friend how much will it be for a repaint and he said most likely around $200. is this true? he is a well-trained and has his own shop. i even asked him about touch-up paint and he said its not gonna fix it. any advice guys?

Touch up paint wont work. Im not sure about it costing $200 but he does have his own shop so I would ask him to help you fix it. Also be happy they did not key a panel it would have cost about $500

I dunno, IMHO $200 seems pretty cheap. Hopefully your friend knows what he's doing. Does he also know you have a metallic paint?

wow good thing it was only the back bumper. but i think its better if i get it fixed with a dealership or at a shop were there are specialist doing paint jobs and stuff. my friend is basically doing machine work and other types but paint job is not his best. so i'd rather not let him do my paint job. LOL

yeah 200 seems pretty cheap and touch up paint may work but it may be noticeable from like up close.
