LED shots and my glowing mini weiner
I've had the 5 LED bulbs (blue) from Superbrite in my headlights since November, no problem. I originally had the single LED 'wide angle' ones - put em in May, and one burned out in Nov. I figured I'd try the multi-LEDs when I replaced it, and they are much brighter - go with those. They have a single LED sticking up, and the other 4 mounted radially; good light dispersion in the headlight housing.
I'm also running blues inside as well, both domes and cubby (blue cold cathodes too, but that's another story). I have 7 color undercar LEDs, but usually always leave em on blue. To mix it up, I just ordered a whole set of UV LEDs last night - I'll swap out the blues, and run the purple undercars for a while. I think the UVs should be the shizz on the interior. I just need a way to make my blue cathodes look purple - maybe cover them with red plastic.....

Are you asking me, or Magyver? From looking at his posts, it looks like he does a lot of his own custom work. (Nice too, btw!)
Me, I bought a kit off ebay - actually two. First set was rigid tubes, and my front one was tucked, but apparently not tucked enough - hit a big chunk of ice during the winter, and it became several small tubes - no longer rigid, and no longer functioning. I was going to get a single replacement tube from the same company ($40), but bought a whole new 'flexible' set instead, thinking I could tuck the flex completely out of harm's way. Turns out I ended up cutting away a small section of the plastic bellypan to mount the flex in the 'tunnel' where the bumper bolts are. However, if I did the same for the rigid originally, would still be in one piece (and I'd be $175 richer, not buying the second set). I actually liked the rigid set better - easier to mount, and didn't sag between each attachment point like the flex did. I had to put a whole lot more supports on the flex (I didn't use the 'hangers' supplied in either kit, they suck - I made my own). To top it off, first time it rained, the new ones leaked - I had to pull them off, take off the end caps, get all the water out, and then seal them with silicone. I was ____ed. Second set also included short lights for the wheel wells, but I didn't put them in yet - still haven't decided if I will or won't. Live and learn I guess - sorry if I'm rambling, but that's why I'm telling you all this, so you don't have to learn the hard way.
The install is pretty straight forward IMO, but depends on your ability. Mount them securely, hide and tie the cables well, away from heat and sharp edges, and find a convienient power source. I ran all the cables in throgh the rubber plug under the spare tire, and ran the power off the cig lighter wire - which would never be used otherwise. Control box is in my console. A girl I know bought basically the same rigid set I did on ebay, but went to Circuit City for the install - they charged her something like $250, and did nowhere near as clean an install as mine. Spend wisely, and ask around - Scion Life is a great source of information. Hope this helps.

sorry, i was asking magyver. i already have puddle lights installed but im getting fed up with them. i like how the glow on his is bright and spread out. i know it's custom which is why i was wondering how its wired. and lil_deuce, i know how rain can leak into your undercar lighting cuz it happened to me, lol.
So how tough is the custom fog light job?? i was lookin at the superflux LED's on ebay or whatever...they come with 50 LED's so like do u have to wire each LED to each other or what??
