ok just wondering which are better the 6wled or the high power led for the license plate on a black car i already searched and everyones look different ... so yea ... also what should i put in the reverse

and don't change the reverse light.

 

I second the high powered. I just put in the polarized one from superbright leds and its much brighter than the 6led. Plus the right bulb on mine kept going wack (even after replacing). So I'm hoping the polarized ones will behave a little bit better.

 

Yeah the single LED high powered, it gives a crisp white like OEM HID's plus it puts more light than standard bulbs.

 

just so u know, since u live in cali, don't run those LED's on ur license plate while driving, because it's illegal

 

The high power is fine it doesnt give any blue its a pure crisp white and puts more light to your plates i dont think they would stop you for that. If they were blue or another color i would worry.

 

yea... white are fine...

some cars come with leds stock... good temp color.

 

I have the white wide angle leds in mine and I got them from Superbrightleds (by the way their service is top of the line)

i have the 6 and its really blue.. i plan to change them soon..

 

just go to www.autolumination.com and buy the bulbs there...ive had mines for about 2+ years and no problems...also, make sure u get the matrix bulbs...they're awesome.

 

how do you change the license plate lights? i know where to go, and usually what to do, but these won't come out. any answers?

ditto, my 1st time i had to twist redicoulously hard to get the thing out

 

i have the higher powered white LEDs from superbrightleds.com - they are nice crisp white color with a hint of blue.

i ended up using pliers to twist them off cause they are really stuck in there.

 

yep i did the same thing they are a lil tough to get out

 

they are a pain in the **** to get out!!! Just use pliers. Love the look once they are in.

 

Yeah and apparently in Cali they are illegal, I have the white i think 6led ones and I got a fix it ticket for them, just because the cop didnt like me ;( Also, why not put them as reverse lights? Ive had mine in my reverse lights for a while, never had a problem with them.

 

Get the high power ones the 6 led give a lot of blue, havent had any problem with mine.

 

yea the Highpower led's look like the Lexus lights. So the cops can suck my... well you get the pic. ;)
