Default Let my car to my mom..never doing it again (help!!)

Our older car is in the shop for a day or two and my mom (typical filipino mom lol) needed to go to Costco. Well needless to say I trusted her with my car. She comes home and tells me she hit the bumper while parking in our garage (we have a garage in my building).She hit it softly against one of the pillars and the pillars are painted yellow at the sides, so you guessed it theres yellow paint along with some scratches on my bumper now I could probably scrape most of the yellow paint away with my finger nails but for the stuff thats harder to take off, what can I do? Until I get all the yellow paint off, I dont know how bad the damage is. Any suggestions?

Clay. If it bothers you that badly make an insurance claim.

This is why you should've bought a 5-speed. Avoid these types of problems

I've learned not to do that anymore. You should see the bottom of my bumper. Totally jacked up due to mom + concrete parking barrier.

:::::::::::UPDATE::::::::::

I used a bit of rubbing alcohol and the yellow paint came off easily, but theres scratches under the yellow paint. When I rub alcohol over the mini scratches it looked like they disappeared but reappeared when the alcohol dried up (which was like a second). Could I still use Scratch X to take it away? Will this scratch X take away scratches that are deep? My car also got keyed when I parked it in a bad area, theres about 2 short scratches by my gas tank and they are pretty deep. What can I do to take those scratches away?

if the scratches can catch your nail then scratch-x wouldnt work cuz its too deep you can try touch up paint
dont forget to put some wax when your done

Def. At my job when someone leaves their car keys around we always move their car across the entire parking lot or sometimes into the one across the street from us. Mine hasn't been moved just for that reason right there.

Well its not his fault its his mom's. But accidents happen, everybody goes through this.
And yea if her mom learned how to drive in his home country, she prolly wouldnt mind driving stick..

rubbing compound should work. Just don't work it in to much or else you'll ending up getting the bumper repainted.

I wouldn't use nail polish remover at all. Too harsh depending on how strong the solution is.

Depending on the deductible I cant imagine that costing over 500 dollars to fix so making the claim you would end up paying for it yourself.
