its not CF, its just black.
he had CF, liked the look but got sick of the maintaining it.
personally, i dont like CF hatches with white garnished, it looks to cluttered. i think CF hatch with CF garnish is great.

yeah jon they are custom painted 08-09 oem tails. had a shop mix some a color that still lets the light shine through, i love the look, painted them myself like they are now a while back but the color was lighter and wasn't so shiney, now they have real deal clear on them and look great, as far as going back to a white hatch, i have thought about it, but there are only like a handful of lowered/fixed-up tc's here and 3 of which are all white, in person the look goes nicely with everything else i got on the car.
wish the rain would stop so i can pull a ring out of the front and go a little lower and get some better pics
