I called Canon...said about 200 to fix it.
Well what happened was. I dropped the 50. broke it in half but no glass broke, only the plastic tabs did. I put it back together and mounted it on the camera. it worked but then I tried switching back to the 18 55 but the 50 was stuck. I didn't wanna force it out because I was scared of braking the body. So I took it to a local camera store. They charge me like 50 bucks to remove. I said ok sure, I'd rather pay that than brake the body. Well I got it back a few weeks ago with the lens off. Camera worked but autofocus didn't. I was ____ed off and called them but they said all they did was removed the lens. Reason why the autofocus doesn't work is the little tabs inside the body where the lens and body connect. One of them is broken off. Idk I called Canon and they said about 200 to fix it O_O
you can see them on this pic..the little gold pins where the lens goes. one of them is broken off. I'm thinking they ____ed up it because idk how the lens getting stuck messed it up. I dont really wanna deal with them and havent gone back becuase ive been busy. But im about to go back and _____ at them. I want my ____ fixed.
