Default licence Plate Ticket in NY ( Please help )

Hey folks!!

I just became a member, and bought my AP TC last saturday. I didnt put my front plate on yet because I was trying to find some help on putting it in the bottom grill with no success but today I got a ticket for having it on my dashboard. Does anybody know how to put it in you bottom grill ?? I saw it on a couple of TC's online. Otherwise does anybody know the best way to put the plate on your car without making wholes in the bumper?

H! Welcome to Scions and ScionLife.

There are several ways to mount the plates besides very noticible holes in the front-end.

This topic discusses a few,
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16228
and I believe there is someone making another mount that uses a predrilled aluminum angle piece.

I just moved your question to a forum here where it might get a better bunch of responses.

Sorry 'bout the ticket!

Cause he asked me and I said no cause I had seen somebody with the plate on the bottom grill and I wanted to see if I could do it.

Does anybody know how to put it on the bottom grill without brackets ?

The one I saw looked hot... All you saw was the numbers the rest was hidding behing the top and bottom of the bumper.

Something like this ----------
I
_______________ I
xxxx BZS5902xxxxx < ---I
-----------------------

That ebay one is nice. Just remember to put some kind of protector on the back of the plate so it doesnt do damage to the bumper if it flexes back into it at highway speeds.
