Default LICENSE PLATE DAMAGE!

Alright well I was on my 14 try today to put the License Plate Lights in... Today I thought I would just try and Rip the thing out compared to all the other days I tried just using my hand... Well the first one came off easy when I decided to turn it a little bit and then TUG it! Then the second plate light that I tried to take out I did not turn the light as much. Then I noticed that the part that you pull out had a little piece broken off. It was the LOCK to lock the light into the License plate slot. Well I have some pictures to denote how they look. You can notice on one of them that a little plastic piece is missing...

Then I put it back in and i decided I would tape it back up... didn't want to get into any trouble with the police!

I was wondering if there is anywhere I can order this piece from and how much it would cost... I think I would spend up to $10 for the piece. Thanks for all the help in advance... And no... YOU IDIOT Comments please... I read the Manual on page 247 and I read soo many articles from this website and nothing really helped!

Sell your tC and buy a civic. They would commend your "ingenuity", but to the people on this board, it looks cheap, haphazard, and will likely fail down the road. If you are going to do something, do it right.

poop, I think the only things I can recommend. Unfortunately the second method is temporary. Basically to get you by until you can replace them with good ones.

1. salvage yard/junkyard. I don't know about your area but we have a local junkyard that you pay a few bucks and you go in and pull it off the car yourself for a reduced price.

2. local hardware or art store. Maybe a little creative plastic making. I know there are mold kits and plastic modeling cements that might work. Putty not the glues BTW
