License plate led legality
I wanted to change my led lights to a white/blue color and was wondering what the laws are in New York state for such a modification? This might sound stupid, but how do you change them as well?
The Lexus have rear license plate lights in that color. You shouldn't have any problems.
1. Open the hatch and pop off the 2 plastic pieces that match.
2. Twist (using your hand or needle-nose pliers) until the sockets 'pop' out.
3. Replace bulbs with other bulbs/LEDs and put back together in reverse order.

yeah i have the 'white' superbirghtleds in mine, and they're more blueish white than pure white and are lacking in brightness..not so 'Super Bright' if you ask me!
i crack myself up! jk.. but seriously..i just saw the flank LEDs and bought them
do you have some comparison pictures of the flank bulb compared to a standard led. I have the pure white led's from Superbrightleds and I still want something that is little brighter... hoping someone can post some side to side comparison pics.

Just got these put on my car, and they look great! pure pure white, absolutely no blue tint to the led's at all, much whiter and brighter than my previous led's.
Lights with the wled-whp 4500K

These are what I have now in cool white

These are what I had before (replaced for my dome lights)
