i ordered black nylon license plate screws for my tC from:

however, they do not fit,,,anybody know where can i get similar screws for the tC? a while ago i had attempted to painted them myself black which turned out to be a bad idea since they are rusty now and the paint has been coming off (i probably didn't do a good job).

black anodized aluminum screws would hold up pretty well.

Screws with black oxide coating would work for awhile, but they usually rust after awhile.

 

okay so black anodized aluminum screws is what i should be looking for then.

if i remember correctly at first i went to home depot to see if i can find the same scews in black color but they did not carry any!! this is why i ended up painting them myself and when that did not work i looked for an alternative on the internet..

but if you guys think they should carry them then i will check again...

 

home depot wont have black anodized aluminum screws, they would just be black if they have them at all.

 

so anybody bought them online?

 

Why not just use stainless button head hex screws?

That's what I rock on my Impala.
