well for starters i race every now and then and would like the car to be a little bit more lighter and i was also thinking about getting the lambo doors kit which i've herd some complaints of it beeing to heavy and the struts might just fail.

Yea, they (and pretty much the rest of the car) are heavy because of the steel going everywhere, to help protect you in an accident.
Besides, do you know how friggin long our doors are? Even without the steel they'd still be pretty heavy.
If you want to get serious about racing, you might want to consider a fast car, not a tC

You could possibly remove the window motor and have the window permanently up, that would drop most of the weight. You could also cut off the outer shell and make a carbon fiber mold and replace that.

I was watching an episode of street furry couple months back, and at a booth at a HIN show, a company was offering carbon fiber door replacements.
the whole door was carbon fiber, the had some on an 06 stang, looked cool

If you are going to the track and are worried about weight, try going on a diet. Better for you, lightens the car, and you retain the safety of the reinforced doors. Scion made the doors heavy for a reason.
