In the lip kit below, do the side skirts replace the factory ones or do these skirts fit over the stock ones? Please respond, I need to know asap. IF they do fit over the stock ones, does anyone have a drivers side skirt that I can buy?

well, i cant get the pic to work. It's a jdm kit. the front lip doesn't have holes in it. I just need to know about the side skirts.

That looks like Racing Solution's RS2 lip kit. I'm pretty sure with all aftermarket side skirts you have to remove the OEM skirts. The aftermarkets are "suppose" to bolt right up to where the OEM ones were.

 

its not the rs2 but that lip kit comes with the rs1 design sides and rear if im not mistaken. The sides do replace the stock ones.

 

the racing solution rs1 sides go over the stock ones...not replace them

 

^what he said, the RS1 sides are covers as well as the JP vizage. the gfx and fiveaxis sides do replace the oem sides, as for bodykits i know the real kaminari is a cover but alot of the fake kits that are fiberglass can be a cover but alot of people go the cheap route and replace the oem ones and then are left with a gap between the side skirts and frame.

 

I LOVE THIS KIT ! most people dont like it but I love it!

I think that kit would look better on an xB. It's too boxy. Kind of ruins the sporty look of the tC. That's probably why it's not popular.

Is anyone completely, definately for sure whether or not these replace the OEM or fit over them? One person said these CAN replace the OEM, but werent supposed to? yes the RS1 side skirts are covers over the oem side skirts.

 

i like it except for the center part of the front bumper but what are you lowered on? everytime i see that kit i wish i didn't have to sell mine

 

JP lip is gross

 

They go OVER the side skirt, and the fitment is horrible, so you might just want to take it to a body shop if you're not ready to put a lot of work into it to get it to fit right.

 

^^^that's my friend's gf's ride, not the one who posted the pics on here... she's soon changed the paint on it and got some rota grids on her ride. that front stash is painted purple not blue... ill post pics of how her car looks now...
