there are 2 opening hatches on the hatch back back and one big fat one on the middle just pop it out!

I would suggest unclip the wiring harness on the socket first, then turn the socket counter clock-wise. Its pretty tight the first time, but keep trying. Do not use pliers or any such tool, you might break the socket. Good Luck!

I had to use pliers, just make sure they grab towards the base of the skinner sides, where the plastic can take more force.
