It Literally blew.. sort of..
I've had these 9006 nokya low beam headlight bulbs and i've had them for quite some time now.. well i noticed my left light bulb went out and went to check it the day after, it came back on a worked normally, but on the right side the clip part of the harness: inside the right contact is burnt and melted all around... wat does that mean? i checked all my fuses and seems to be normal and all... im a bit worried cuz i just might have to buy new harnesses, i just put on some new raybrigs cuz the nokyas we warped somehow... PLZ HELP T_T....
It sounds like you blew the harness. Time to buy new ones. Depending on the wattage of the bulb, you can purchase harnesses that handle more watts. Also when you install new bulbs, make sure the connections are in the harnessess correctly! Most faulty headlights are due to poor installation procedures.
You can do it yourself if you are remotely comfortable soldering. And use electrical grease from now on and/or use proper wattage bulbs. Either they weren't in right or the wattage was too high.
