Default ...a little confsed.

can you guys tell me what the difference is between the white and the red trd springs? besides the obvious (color).

someone told me that without adding some other kind of suspension mod, the red ones could mess up my car...im kinda confused as to why. or if thats even a true statement.

could he have been talking about shocks?

That is a false statement. They're the same springs, different color.

Yes, he could have been talking about shocks (technically struts, not shocks), as some people feel you shouldn't upgrade springs w/o upgrading the shocks too. The thing is, if he felt that way it should pertain to both color springs, since they have the same specifications, aside from color.

That said, many people here have had the TRD springs installed (both colors) with the stock struts, no problems at all after many miles. If money isn't an issue, then it'd be nice to get TRD struts to go with the springs, but it's certainly not required.

If you want the springs, go for it, no worries.

The Red Springs sit differently than the White ones...

Been running TRD springs (the white ones) on the stock struts for about 95000 miles now...no problems so far (knock on wood).

Werd.

My friend has the white ones and I have the red ones and we have the same drop.

The whole thing about the colors being different is just a conspiracy theory... It's all the same thing.

Then there are those that didn't install it correctly...

yeah im taking it one thing at a time...

i think i'll pick up the springs, and find a place to install them next monday cause i have off from work. and then do the hid's afterwards. im probably going to order them on tuesday...im thinking 5000k? i dont wanna go very blue. i'll take a ride up there if you guys wanna help me install them. im sure they'll be easier than the fogs. i wanna try it.

tints after those are done.

oh i didnt tell you...haha. lastnight i stopped at a rest stop to get a soda and a state trooper came up to me and started talking to me whel i was sitting in my car with the door open. rob didnt put the cover back on the the fuse box so i was trying to fix it. and i was like...go d dammit theyre gonna start annoying me already about the lights....but he just asked if i was okay.
