Default Looking for Good Grill

Ok guys, I am looking for a nice looking replacement grill- not an overlay. I can't stand when you can see the OEM grill and scion emblem through the overlay. So, any recommendations? I think I would like some that come in black. Would this look good with my flint mica? Anyways, let's see some pics.

Lots of choices...

Grillcraft.com

FigureLLC.com (Ebay)

DIY

I just installed the FigureLLC Grill today and it looks very good! Sorry I don't have any pics. By the time I finished it was dark.
Yes, black would look nice on a FM tC. Just be sure to get the Upper AND the Lower Grills! IMHO, it just looks plain goofy when peeps have grills that don't match.

look at my profile and you can see my grillcraft one. it tells you to put the grill over the OEM one, but I found a thread on here that shows you how to make it its own grill. not an overlay...

Here's a quick pic of the FigureLLC Grilles in 'Gloss Black'.

It's a replacement. You do have to drill in the bumper a little.
It's ok though because when you put the OEM Grilles back in, they cover up the drilled holes.

I used Dupli-Color High Temp Paint in 'Semi-Gloss Black'.

*NOTE* I have CF inserts around the emblem. What I was going to before I purchased the FigureLLC Grilles was paint the 'Scion' lettering silver. Kind of like a reverse emblem. A lot of peeps will tell you to get flat black paint. I like the semi gloss because when the car is clean and shiny, so is the emblem.

myne is gloss as well. I like it alot better than the silver emblem. First i was going to do the letters white but found out how much of a you know what that was.....haha so then i had the idea to paint only the big s in the middle....i guess its a s? white....and the rest black....but that didnt really work out. lol let us know what you come up with.

Hmm, Alright im going to give it a try.

Also i was looking at the stock grill
and is it just me or does it have a certain gloss to it. I was thinking it over and thought that if i spray the emblem alone, wouldnt it just kinda stand out being a diff tone/color than the grill?

Is it bad to paint the whole grill? lol
