A lot of question.... Help anyone.
Whats up guys. I just bought 2008 TC so I searched around and came across this site. Sick sight, a lot great looking cars. There is a problem though. I bought the car without really looking at what you can actually do to it. I am not really into cars at all, this is my first real car. So now I have a new 2008 with STOCK spoiler and STOCK body kit..... After seeing all the kits on peoples rides I got a little upset and feel I wasted my money. I guess you live and learn right. Can anyone point me in a direction to where I can see prices and the look of some different kits. I saw the thread with all the kits but I am looking more for a price of them as well. Thanks everyone for the help in advance.
keep them they look the cleanest but u did waste your money getting them from the dealer they charge you a lot more. oh and you want to see different kits just search google or the site. the SEARCH button is your friend
A lot of people, including myself, think that the STOCK lip kit and STOCK spoiler looks the best/cleanest out of all the body kits out there. I don't think you wasted your money, it does add a lot to the car. Keep it clean.
Thanks for the help guys. I have the ped. spoiler not the lip one. I thought the lip didn't do it enough justice. One more question and I will leave you alone till another day. Anyone have a picture of the TC with the stock kit and spoiler, but done up a little more? I think I want a 2 tone paint job... Silver/Red. Silver/Black. Maybe a Silver/Blue
the OEM lip kit is the best kit for the tc IMO, its the cleanest out there, if i was to get a new tc i would definitely get the kit from the factory, i don't think you've wasted your money, what you can do now is lower it, tint it, get some wheels, hid's CF hood maybe? and you're good, good luck!
Please guys bare with me. I have no idea of the terminology and stuff for the TC. Like names of kits and stuff. I am 22 years old and have never ever been into cars. But then again I never had a car that was MINE... So the OEM means...the stock kit...? Once again please bare with me....

Ok. Now..... My car will have the kit on it and pedestal spoiler when I pick it up. The top and bottom grills are black for stock right? The sporty billet is like a chrome look right? Thanks for your patients dude. Thats hellsing right in your avatar?
Don't look for another kit, just buy some nice offsetted rims. The stock wheels sit too far in for the OEM kit. BTW-You did the smart thing by buying the kit at the dealership. If you look around, (kits are like $825 at trdsparks) you still have to install them. (More $$, more $$ if you don't want to DIY.) Get some nice 18" rims and you'll be aight.
P.S. Stay away from the Sport Billet! It's overpriced.

Its a funny story with the body kit actually. I looked at the car last saturday. So I decided to get it. 2k down. They drove the car to me from the northern end of long island to the southern end. The car came...scratched. I told them I dont want it so they sent me to the other dealer ship to pick up another car NOT SCRATCHED. I get to the dealership and the new car.. scratched again. As a compensation for me being told I was going to get a car that day, and looking at 2 scratched ones, free kit installation and some mats.
Sorry guys I am at work and cant pay much attention. Its a really long story but I was in bellport very south/east on the island. The first car was driven to me from Huntington station, more north/west. It had about an inch scratch on the passenger quarter panel, a rip in the paint on the top corner of the hood right next to the windshield, 2 scratches on the trunk. This is a 2008...No way would I drive away with my car like that. The car I went to go look at that same day was in Huntington Station. That car had marks on driver side door, and looked like someone backed into something which dented and took the paint off the bumper. My color is silver man sorry hahahaha. If I don't get my car by Saturday I am getting my money back and doing business elsewhere
I just got a call from the dealer. At 6:00 pm my 2008 tc will be ready with the OEM kit installed. I really cant wait. Ive have spent the past few days on this site checking out what you can do this this car.. I cant wait to get mine looking good...
