i searched, couldn't find anything and don't really have too much time to read, just wanted a basic question answered. whats the lowest offset i can go without affecting handling on stock body. wide body or longer studs.

i tried on my friends volk te37's 18x8 with 30 offset and i put it on with lugs and it bolted up fine, torqued it and it was fine but i' was afraid of driving my car. would 30 be too much of an offset on stock hub without spacers or extended hubs?
