Some guy on another thread was saying a place on the web is dissing the McCullough's. Don't know why, because the site requires you t register to read the forums...

its hidplanet.

any aftermarket like mcculloch and such sucks compared to quality that hidplanet product offer.

those are not bolt on 9006, they do require modification such as retrofit/rewire and cost more. in the end its more expensive but better quality. for any product you do gat what you pay for.

I have McCulloch 5300k on my 2005 Prius and soon (on its way) the tC. I love them... no problems yet except for some minor glare.

good price but I'm concerned Mccullochs dont have a wiring harness that powers the lights off the battery. but any HID kit under $300 doesnt seem to have a comprehensive harness.

the older version of this kit gets the power from the battery.

but if your interested in a harness, im in the process of making a couple.

nice... I can't wait to install mines also.,.... does it look more yellow or blue to you?

Did you screw on the ballast or what? I have a hard time seeing doesn't look like it. or did you use the double sided tape?

double sided. i cleaned it first then dried the area then stick it on.

the Lights are SOOO WHITE, no hint of blue but my camera is having a hard time focusing on it. thats why its off color if looking directly with the camera. Il post more pics later with more distance to it.

no time to buy 3m, i used the one it came with. I mounted it underneath because i have no room at all especialy with the supercharger hugging all the space

take your time and mount in the same area as me.

Is there any blue in the 5300k? I want these but I'm torn between the 6000k kit and the 5300k.

6000k should have a hint of blue.... 5300k should be white as Tikhboy said.... I'll try to install my kit soon.
