Hey, ive ordered my rs1 carbon fiber lip, and i want to see how it is installed.. so if you could take pics of the lip and from underneath and from the wheel well and stuff, i would really appreciate it.

omg bump, i know people have installed this lip.

 

USE 3M TAPE. when you scrape and the lip moves up you get really ____ed off and want to just throw it away.

here are a couple pics that might help. i used 2 rivets on each side.

why do u need pics from underneath?

the only thing u gotta do is fit it to make sure it fits, trim it if it doesn't, lay 3 m tape down underneath the edge of the lip where it touches the car, stick it to the car and then put two self tapping screws into each wheel well side. simple as that. takes 10 minutes.

 

are you looking to see how much of a gap there is underneath from the bumper?

 

i just want to see it from underneath and how far it extends and stuff, i hate taking thoes screws out. but it sounds like it just sticks there. still would like pics tho!

 

it lowers the body lines by half an inch.
