Default Moonroof issue

I think this is the correct area to put this, might be wrong, so if I am I apologize in advance.

Has anyone with the first year or even newer tC's started noticing issue with the moonroof? When you shut the doors mine will jump up for a second and then go back down. Today when I ran it through a touchless carwash to just rinse some road gunk off it real fast. Water came shooting around the back part of the moonroof as the water blaster was coming back across the roof (from back to front). This is the very first time this has happened, and the detail shop didnt run across this the last time it was in there about two months ago. I checked all the seals around the moonroof and everything looks good and snug no holes or signs of real wear. My tC is over 3yrs old as was one of the first ones built back in June of 2004. Thanks for any comments and assist on this in advance.

If your roof is closed, and you have water coming in, take it to the dealer.
You might want to try and reset it first:
Disconnect the negative battery lead for 15 minutes.
When you reconnect the battery, open the moonroof and then close it all the way - keep holding the button until it does a little jerk - it's re-calibrating.
With the windows, roll them down 1/2 way.
Now hold the up button and keep it in for about 3 seconds after they close.
If you still get water in, you got problems that the dealer will have to fix.

Resetting will most likely fix it. And like he said, you need to disconnect the neg bat cable first so it needs initializing. You basically need to reboot it

I had this very issue with mine out of nowhere.

well good news is it doesnt do it when it rains it seems, its been raining around here lately and no issues. It just seemed to be an issue when the high powered water hit it from behind. I am guessing that is because it was able to push the glass up from behind with the water pressure.
