Default Mudguards: who has em?

Will they fit on a lowered tc without rubbing on stock 17's?

Have them, think they blend in pretty well with the car and they work pretty well from keeping the car gettin speckled w. mud and snow. Its a great mod if you live in some bad weather locations

Yeah, I just ordered a set of them from TRDSparks.com, BUT I guess I should've done a little more research as the front mudguards require two holes to be drilled on each side. I do not want holes drilled in my new car...lol...maybe that's a little excessive, but as much as I'd like to have them on, if I ever decide to take them off I don't want those holes there.

So I guess they'll just sit in my room unless someone is interested in them.

I have them.... no rubbing... your wheels move up and down on the suspension, not forward and back.

Look/Search in the Aero & Exterior forum... there's several threads with pictures.

^^^^ Looks Great! Is your car lowered though?

HAha, i'm NO noob, i KNOW how suspensions work. i work part time in a performance shop. i know the mudguards were designed for stock tc's, just wondering if theres any issues on lowered tcs...

It takes WAY too long to search through dozens of threads trying to find the specific answer i want...I have DIAL UP!

So no, i will probably NEVER use the search function..unless one of you wants to buy me a high speed modem.

It's not lowered. but I can tell you that the fronts extend almost 1 inch from the bottom of the side skirt and the rears extend a little more than 2 inches from the rear bumper.

Hope that helps.

I have them on mine and with the stock 17's and a 2" Goldline drop they only rubbed on big speed bumps. Never did any damage as long as you take it slow. I now have 19"s and they no longer rub on the same speed bumps. Hope that answers your question.

Fronts go on super easy. The rears is where you have to drill. I had mine painted low-gloss black. I didn't care for the dark grey color.

I think they look much better painted.

I know weird huh? The 17's are a smaller diameter tire compared to the 19's even though I have a low pro tire. The whole height of the car was raised by about 1/2 inch over my stock tires and 2" drop. I was never able to get my floor jack under the car without lifting it first, but now the jack clears the rockers fine. Again, no rubbing. Put the flaps on, it will save your paint and with the paint the way it is on these cars, you need all the help you can get.
