I was bored the other saturday so I decided to make myself a grill. After removing the front bumper I just molded the mesh around the stock clips.... It didn't look quite right at first so I took it back apart, flatened it out and painted it a nice metallic charcoal. After 4 hours and some cuts I think it came out pretty good, i love the clean look it gives the car, especially because I did it all myself Let me know what you think though!

can we have a DIY on this. where did you get the material. very nice, gives a very clean look.

 

it looks good now, but the rocks and debris will start to put dents n chips in the grill.

you can find that kinda os mesh or similiar mesh at home depot, lowes, or pep boys.

 

It's called Drywall Mesh. $4.09 for a 6x8 foot sheet.

i did mine like that But I may switch to something a lil bit more professionally done when it comes to painting/powder coated. I painted mine and the rox/weather got the best of it so it has chips in it, since it was aluminum b4 you can see the color difference.

thumbs up. almost looks like grillcraft... but a little finer.. the pic from the farther shot look a little funny... the grill seems too fine... like too small.. but i like it

i think you can buy similar material powdercoated by the foot. Not bad for 10 bucks

Looks clean... I see some tiny tiny problems on the edges though. By looking at the lighting I see it's not perfectly round or flat.

no way. look at the grill he made compaired to my grill in my profile or cardomain page. they mount differet, and has a different mesh look.

and with him making one instead of buying grillcrafts, he saved around $240
