Here is my recent mod that I did, I had gotten another 3rd brake light and cut it open then drilled 12 3/8" holes spaced 1" apart from eachother, placed 6 White Superflux LEDs (ordered from Oznium.com) on each side then wired them together and wired it into the reverse lights.
Heres some pics:

And a night shot:

What do you all think of it??

yea, my tints are a little too dark for me to see out of so I need my reverse lights, lol. I am actually going to order some LED ones from autolumination.com, I saw pics of them in the TYC tails and they are bright as hell...

so instead of spending less money on just the leds themselves and wiring it up yourself,
all the leds you bought were pre-wired stuff, thus all that extra wires you had to splice together?
okies.
looks nice, but i do hope you just wired it to your reverse light.. though it looks like it is so.

yea it's just wired to my reverse light and that's it. Buying it pre-wired was easier, I spliced all the connections right behind the light before I put it back in, so it wasn't all that hard.

thanks everyone, Nothing should go wrong with it, everything is nicely taped up and wired correctly, I made sure I didn't cut into any wires while installing it and everything, lol... I tripled checked everything before buttoning it up, lol.
