Default My car got into a boo-boo =/

Well...I got my first accident in my tC.

Basically the light turned yellow, I came to a complete stop and the car behind me thought I was going to run it and sped up...into my butt. her speed was probably 40-45mph, enough to push my car 15-20 feet into the intersection with my foot mashed on the brakes.

So estimate my damages and do you think it's repairable?

Look my bumper fell off!

On this pic you maybe able to see the warping of the quarter panel on the right side, there's a nice crease thats visible during the day time.

Yeah she has insurance, the validity of which is being checked by my insurance company.

Anyway I'm taking my tc in for estimates tomorrow, hopefully there isn't any unibody damage. If no damage to the unibody I think my car will run 6k for repairs.

Glad you're alright.
Hopefully from now on she'll start paying attention while driving.

jesus... Maybe all that stuff in your trunk helped prevent more damage j/k

But in all seriousness, your in one piece so thats good. It all looks repairable and should be covered through insurance... maybe u'll get a few extra bills outta it and u can buy some mods for yer car after all is said and done.

if you have a deductible with your insurance, don't let your insurance company fix your car since its not your fault, go straight with her insurance or else you'll gona wait months for the reimbursement.

ditto, there will be no reason to go through your insurance
this is 100% their fault, so their insurance is liable for 100% of the claims.

[anytime you are hit at a redlight stopped it is always the other persons fault lol]

$9000 seams about right...

I use to do estimates at a body shop so hears a beak down of what your car is gonna need done

New rear floor pan
New Rear sub frame
New Rear support beam
New Bumper
Fix Quarter panel
New paint
And Blend every adjacent panel near the repair areas

Looks like border line salvage
