Default My New Smoked *Esuse Fog Lights on Flint Mica

I bought the JDM "style"/K2 fog lights on ebay and smoked them out with Vans lens paint. They came out great. Also installed PIAA yellow bulbs. Fitment and quality is excellent.

The reason I bought these instead of VRD, is because they were able to cover up this bad crack from a 'coon and I didn't want to buy a new bumper because the shops around here quoted me $600-700 for paint and labor!!!

$150-200 if you buy from a person.

in before "no JDM parts for the tC" lol

ive seen those but I like the VRDs more even if they do cost more and people say they aren't worth it.

Just something about the design of them doesn't sit well with me. I think it's the chrome "stripes" or whatever they would be. Though I wouldn't buy the VRDs either... but that's just me.

As long as you like them though. Any reason you smoked them AND went with yellow bulbs?

smoked them because I didn't like all the chrome. The yellow bulbs because supposedly yellow doesn't reflect as much as white when in fog. I will look into getting HIDs in yellow later, but I don't drive much at night since I work graveyard so I'm still debating.

yeah I know, that's why there are quotation marks around the word, style: JDM "Style" actually should be "styled", but whatever...someone will give them a name or find out the manufacturer.

I found it, they are made by Esuse, a Taiwanese company...renamed the subject.

Yea those cover up the crack real nice. Damn those raccoons, I hit one before in my old car. I slowed down to let it pass, it ran pass so I started speeding up again, but then it ran back the other direction and I hit it....stupid animal.

This one came at me from the side, and it looked like it wanted to attack my car, lol, I had enough time to just tap the brake but it was too late...BAM! hit it right on the noggin'. I thought for sure my bumper was gonna be dragging, but it was ok. I lost my vent grille, so the next day we went back to the spot, and found the dead effer and my grill. He was almost the size of my dog!
