haha the TRF was bout to go on production. i had a call from alex "bluebox" the owner for teh car a while back (4-5 months) asking me if i wanted a sponsor. but with teh FIBER-FX CF hatch (integrated spoiler) wasnt possible.

tats the last that i heard about this project

 

So sad it's looking like it'll never happen. It truly is the best looking spoiler for the tC created thus far. Hopefully soon someone will either make a deal to produce it for them, or just blatantly copy it. I'd buy it right now!

Viniati is apparently working on getting the rights to produce that wing...

Only time will tell.

 

I've heard the same thing, and I hope he's working hard to get the rights, but I have my doubts. Since the licensing would have to be split three ways among the two TRF owners and the person who designed it. I'm sure it could get ugly when they try to decide who gets how much of the pie, not to mention Viniati himself will want the largest piece since he's the one actually producing it. But if they play their cards right, I think all parties involved will be happy with the money they make from this spoiler. If it is produced, I hope they make it in Urethane. What I think TRF shoulda done was show the overwhelming response to Scion execs and tried to get SCION to make it. But then again, if that happened, we'd all be driving around with that spoiler and it wouldn't be so special anymore. Ugh, who cares, I just hope the thing goes into production. As soon as it's announced, I'll put down my deposit!!!
