Default Nasty installation on the Five Axis Kit

I finally got my five axis lip kit installed on my 08 tC but the final work looks like poop. It cost me 800 bucks from MPH motorsports to paint and install my kit along with a scratched fender that was also to be repaired. I was so excited to see the final result and I knew the job wasnt going to be perfect but when I saw my car..eh it just looked so nasty. The problem was that after they installed the kit..the dude put some glue or something on it to fill the gap but it was just all over the place.

I will get more pics up when I can.

Since you are in Chicago, have you tried getting a quote from Driver's Image for the work? I'm not sure if they would do all the work themselves but they have had many show cars and they all turned out pretty good. They might be a little more expensive then MPH motorsports, but they are more well known in the area and they have a bigger rep to keep up so I'm sure their work would've been a lot better then the job that MPH motorsports did.

Do you have any pics of the side skirts installed on the car?

On a side note, that 5axis front lip looks awsome on a BSP tC.

Too bad they only sell it as a full kit or else I would consider getting the front lip from them.

take it back to the shop and complained. you should have never picked the car up from the shop in the first place bro. i would never accept that kind of installation of a lip kit on my car. that is just unacceptable. take it back to the shop as soon as you can.

Dude that is seriously the most ____ poor job I have ever seen? how long have these guys been in business for?????
anything with glue always turns out in a negative manner.

If someone tried giving me my car back after i forked over a **** load of my own dough, they would have gotten the worst verbal lashing of their life, as would anyone in that vicinity so they knew what the hell was going on.

In all honesty dude, you shoudlnt have even left their lot with the car. You should have inspected, saw how F'd up it was and turned right around and said that youre not paying for this. Some kind of legal action is def needed in that type of scenario.

That sucks, hopefully you can have this fixed. You should go back and speak to the manager of the shop and see what they can do to fix this half-assed job. If not threaten with legal action, i guess. GL on this!

mine had a gap too...i'm still deciding if i should get it molded. a few weeks after i installed it, the front lip started to sag down...the double stick tape wasn't sticking too well (yes, i cleaned the bumper). i might remove it and apply new tape on it and fabricate some brackets for the front lip and side skirts. the side skirts seem flimsy to me after i installed it. do you have gaps on the sides of the rear lip?

they should of not had used that silicon to try and close up the minor gaps between the lip and bumper.

yea i checked out Drivers Image, they offered 500 for paint and installation but I read there profile and they mostly do tuning jobs rather than body work. MPH offered me 800 for everything plus a fixed fender. Ahh..yea there are minor gaps. I took the car back to MPH and they said they will do the best to fix the kit. TOO MAKE IT WORST I GOT REAR ENDED BY SOME OLD LADY IN HER JEEP. She tried to run me over and take off but i wouldnt let her. The cop on the phone just told me to go since they couldnt pin point where I was and report her licence plate so they could investigate a hit and run. MAN I AM HAVING A BAD DAY
