need help with gfx lip...
hey, i have the front and rear gfx lip but i'm not sure how to put it on without having to cut holes in my bumper.. i want to cut off the tabs, but i wasn't sure how i would mount the lip on my car.. if someone could give me an idea it would be great!
on trdsparks.com look for the gfx kit and at the top right it will have the instructions on how to install it, as for using double sided tape i don't recommend it for the rear because you really can't get it to stay, front isn't too bad.
aww damnit... i need to go and buy some t-tabs at the dealer then... i guess i'll jus cut some holes in my bumper. also, where can i get that rubber material that outlines the lip so it doesn't scratch my bumper? i didn't get one when i bought it.
the front yes but the rear i wouldn't because a friend got his car back from a bodyshop with the rear lip without the tabs and it looked like it was falling off, had screws on the bottom yet the top was sagging.
just cut into the bumper Ben, then you can run super slammed 24/7. Leave the kit on, it'll look cleaner, if you scrape, then you scrape, its the name of the game. Thats why your tucked foo! lol hit me up if you need help installin' the kit
u can't get the "rubber" thingy or what they call the weatherstrip separately...they wont sell it to you unless u buy a lip kit...lol, so what i used is the one off a corolla kit, thats the only one they sell that u can buy separately....just use that and cut accordingly
wait what the hell? they don't sell it? F%@ing b?#@(es! So you mean get the corolla "rubber thingy" and cut off parts of it and just glue it on? by the way, what kind of glue did you use to put it on.?
