Default Need Help With HID's (got the site) =]

So im back and in need of help again with the lights.

By the way i have a SuperWhite 2009 Scion tC woot!


i was looking for some help earlier about a blue-ish color for my lights
and i was recommended to buy HID plug and plays.

i know i know.
im nubby for getting it on ebay
and heres the link.

i was really hoping to get some feed back on this link
bc my friend gave me bday money to spend on my lights
which was really nice of him =]

10000K is obscene. They look cheesy and you're not going to see a damn thing at night, especially if it rains. You really shouldn't go any higher than 6000K for any sort of functionality. 4300K is the stock color for factory HIDs, and you're in projectors anyway. If you want function, go 4300-5000K, if you want some more color, get 6000K, anything beyond that is silly, IMO.

as other mentioned i dont recommend 10k why you cant see at night..if safety is improtant i say 5k no higher the 6k.....those blue and purple are meant for shows not everyday use and probably ilegal in some states

Any aftermarket HID kit is legal for off-road use only. Unless it came with the car, it's illegal... however, if you deal with glare and keep the color temp reasonable, you'll likely never have problems.

no need to take the bumper off. just put ur hand in where the light bulbs are and twist cc and u'll get it out. if it's difficults, then use a tool or something and it should come out. remember to twist counter-clockwise.
