Well, today I got pulled over and given a warning for no front plate.. (I thought it was for my 5% tint, but thank goodness my windows were down becuase I didn't even see the cop.)
Well I am NOT about to drill holes in my bumper so where can I put my license plate??
Don't say on the dash because thats where it was when I got pulled over..

 

zip tie it to the lower grille.

what i did with my vrd is i bent the plate so it sits completely in teh opening, then zip tied it

 

What can I bend the license plate with...
Becuase ATM, I am in an apartment while our house is being built, and I dont have any tools readily available without having to go to our storage building

 

NVM I can bend it with my hands....lol

but isnt it illegal to fold the top or bottom of your license plate??

 

i was told by a cop that you only have to have a license plate on the front if theres an available spot to mount it. that might only be in NV though

Mine's been zip tied to lower grill for ~2yrs, no probs.

 

dude they're lenient as ____ in vegas. i honestly dont even know anyone that has been pulled over for their tint, car being too low or loud.

 

well its on my lower grille now... looks better than on the bumper....

 

i hate stupid front plate laws, its the same here in Jersey...

and front plates make our car look like butt

I'm in Cali and been front plate-less for 3 years.
I've been pulled over locally and in L.A. and 'no front plate' has ever been mentioned. (No tickets either! )

Stupid cop made me late to my 6th period class but my coach let me eat...lol

 

Never had a front plate, never been pulled over for it either. One cop did make an extremely quick turn around when he was going the other direction, then he followed a little bit for awhile then turned off. I wasn't sure why he did it but he did.

 

come to think of it my last car had limo tint and a cop here asked me where i got it done lol. he wanted it for his stang he said... made me laugh
