Default NEED HELP ! Regarding Powdercoating Calipers !

I have decided that I want my calipers painted, but I really dont like the homemade paintbrushed look and I have seen so far. I saw on one ocasion one person who had them powedercoated in a nice clean glossy blue that looks just like the paint on the car.

Is there anything I sould know? Is it bad for some reason? Does anybody have them done like this? Pic's?

I know it more expensive but I think its worth it, It looks like you could have this done for like $30 a piece.

Last question is ... I have an Azure Pearl do you think the calipers would look good in a nice metalic glossy gold ? Suggestions!

i think powdercoated calipers would look better than if you brushed them on yourself, i plan to get that done eventually

its not bad...but if u just want a glossy look.... ..paint thin layers in several coats....and then clear coat it....thats what id due before spending 30 bux a caliper...im sure itd look about the same...however powdercaot will last longer...but u could always just repaint em....

Yea, you can always repaint them if they chip. If you use several thin coats, the finish turns out really nice and smooth. Plus, its only $15 and there is plenty of paint. I did 3 coats on all 4 calipers and i still have 2/3 of a can of paint left. As long as you take your time and do a lot of prep work...they turn out extremely nice.
