Hey all.. I smoked my tails a while ago.. i just want ur opinion on it.. I've been trying to decide for a while if i should go darker on it, like make it black, or leave it the way it is? i cant decide, give me some suggestions?~~

 

go darker. they just look maroon there...

I personally like the "maroon" look. I wouldn't tint it any darker. May i ask where you picked up your can of nightshades?

 

i think it looks pretty clean in those pics.. but i'd make them go a little bit darker

btw.. where did you get yours smoked? and isn't there a way to do it "homemade"?

i would go Black, match it with a CF hood, and some black 5 spoke wit a crome look , that would be mad clean

 

good suggestion, thats what i was thinking, except for hte cf hood, not my style =P. but yea im plannin on getting some nice black rims next

 

if youre not worried about a ticket, id go darker. i think maroon tails go better with black cars. even if you leave it though, it still looks pretty good.

btw, how many coats is that?

i had overlays that brought it almost to that exact shade of red, but i had bubbles and wrinkles all over the place so i ripped them off. now im going to try nightshades i guess. ::sigh::

mm.. so how big are the chances of getting a ticket if i go dark as in black?

It looks good.. but I think you should go a little darker!

 

i think it looks fine the way it is =] .. thats the shade i want on mine =]

 

you should wetsand those with a high grit sandpaper and then hit it with a clear coat so they look shiny again, then it would look good.. i say leave it like that, anymore darker then it would be harder for ppl to see the brake lights during the day, might get rear ended

 

btw.. how many coats of niteshades/clear coat did you use?? and where did you get the clear coat?? was it from that vht site too?
