I am thinking on getting some vertexracing carbon fiber eye lids on my FM tC, to go with the carbon fiber door pillars i already have on, but i got a recent comment that it would not look good because the line direction on the door pillars and the eyelids are different, well i will appreciate some more opinions. below is all the pics you need:

Personally, I want them...but then I see them...and I Dont like the thickness of the eyelids. I think bluebat makes vinyl eyelids that match FM really well, if I was going to buy eyelids I would rather go with vinyl just to keep the smoothness of my headlights. If I was real hardcore, I would open up my headlights and paint that chrome thing thats in there that the eyelids end up covering, I would paint it to match the body and then seal up my lights.

 

these are 7 year high quality vinyl and are flush to the hood, they are not to thick, and i have felt these and they are extremely smooth

 

its funny but the way you answered that question, seems like you have your mind all made up. If its something you want then go ahead and do it.

To me the line or shape of the eyelids wouldn't matter with the pillar. their too far apart for someone normal or others to notice. Unless you said something about the hood and eyelids then it won't matter. Just do it!

your right i do have my mind set on these, and have already ordered them, but its just nice to get other points of views. and i also totally agree about the lines not mattering due to my pillars being so far away..i definetely would not have put them on next to a cf hood with a different line directions like my friend in the picture did, the picture was just to get an example of what the eye lids look like when actually on a tC, well i think you know what i am getting at

You need to see them on an FM.

it all looks real nice, can i ask where you got your cf ey lids from, as you probably already read above i ordered mine from vertexracing like my friend did in his tC pictures

i think they look nice, but it doesnt really matter anymore since you already ordered them haha
