By any chance does any one know how to take off their gas tank door? mine got a little dinged up by a d.ick. head in walmart. so i got a new one but how do i take off mine?

yeah, it is riveted, you need a rivet gun to get it on and off.

 

I thought one just usually drilled out rivets? Gun to get back on of course

you just need a powertool with the proper attachment to pull out the rivets and put them back in whe you reinstall it.

don' t know what it was, it was probably just an power drill with the proper attachment to grip the rivets on the fuel door and pull it off. whatever it was, you're not going to be doing it by hand.

 

dam wat a bummer dude, that means ima have to take it to a shop to be taken off. dam lol

They start around $10, rivets are about $2 more for a pack of a few dozen.

Rivets come in different diameters. Buy the size that snugly fits the holes already drilled into the hinge of the gas door. Waste a few rivets into the air so you see how they work before trying it on the car

Old rivets can be removed by drilling out their center using a drill bit just a bit larger than the post of the rivet.
