Does anyone know what material that charcol/black colored stuff is? I want black pillars and headliner but I don't to do suede so I'm tryin to find out what other options there are...

 

Thats the stock material, I just removed the pieces and dyed them.

 

really... thats interesting. How does it feel to the touch? still soft or is it kinda rough... and have you had issues with the color rubbing off?

 

Its still soft to the touch, and no problems with anything rubbing off.

 

well now I'm excited, I think I'm gonna be doing this :-). What did you use???

 

It's called simply spray.

sweet, I found it. How many cans do you think I need to do all the pillars and the headliner? i can covers 18 sqft, so i feel like 2 should be enough.. but am I going to need to do multiple coats?

 

I used 6 small cans on the headliner, and 3 cans on the pillars.
Had to do 2 coats to cover fully.

 

wow thanks for all the help especially since this is all completely OT . I'm tight on funds right now so I dont think I'll be able to afford so many cans right now but once I get some cash together I will definatly do this. thanks again!
