damn you took the idea right out of my brain especially the leds around the shroud.

the only problem your probably gonna have is if vibrations some how knocks your alignment off where you adjustments going to be made.

why did you kill the high beams reflector?? i still dont understand that part??

how about a front shot and side shot during the day time..please

There is no vibration. I though of it before I reassemble my headlights.

The way that you can test the stability of your low beam is to lift up your headlight holding your projector. Parallel the projector with the ground level. Then, shake it up and down (do it hard enough to replicate road experience). Then place your headlight back to your car again to see if the cut-off is out of place. I did that and it was fine, so I don't expect any vibration. It looks like it would vibrate, but the metal sheet is pretty strong.

As for the HB, I wanted the projector instead of the reflector because I expected to be brighter. Does it?? Somewhat I think. But the big reason why is because it is cheap and looks "cool" during day time. Thats all.

I'll post more day time shot tomorrow, I was out all day today

Pics updated.

And no, I did not leave the silica gel package loose. I used two side tape to keep them still.

Also, I meant to ask. How much would you guys pay for a retrofited headlights. I have some parts left over and deciding whether I should retrofit another healdights and sell them, or just sell out the parts. Let me know. Thanks

I'd pay around $450-500 for a set of quality set of single xenon lows.

sick!! i love the leds in the bezel's notches! i worry about the heat from the bulb/projector prematurely killing your leds tho. leds are very sensitive to heat...

Yeah. I though of it when I mounted the shrouds, but the leds are not in direct contact with the projectors, and I also cover all the leds with silicone. Hopefully that will alleviate the heat attack from the projectors.

those silica packs can only absorb so much moisture before they become useless and needs replacing. do you plan to ever open the headlights again? i'd imagine that will be pretty difficult now that you put silicone to seal the edge.

Not really. I don't plan to open my headlights again, or at least not for that reason. I placed 10 packs in each headlights a different locations to hopefully obsorb moisture immediately as it gains access. My headlights are pretty secure too, so no moisture is expected. Also, silicone is not difficult to remove. Just run a knife through them and bake the headlights. I did that to my other retrofit headlights.

Nice work man. Very clean install.
I have JB Weld all over my reflector. Did you just drill holes into the reflectors and screw the projector on?
