TCTUNERZ.COM SAID:
Well we ran into a few snags with the Scion tC Kaeon Style bumper and fitment issues; we will get to that in a bit.
Since the project car is in Alabama and the urethane/fiberglass/carbonfiber (UFC) manufacturer is in California we didn’t have a tC at our disposal to keep at the shop for 3-4 weeks. Since it takes 3-5 weeks to go from prototype to production on UFC parts, we have had the help of two of our California native users to complete this project. Rolando and Paul have full time jobs with full time lives and the tC is their primary car. They have been taking turns the past week or so dropping their cars off for 1-2 days at a time when needed; this is where the problem came in...
The problem…
In order to make the prototype bumper we took an OEM plastic bumper and copied it in fiberglass in order to mold the new style in fiberglass together. When in the mold production process, fiberglass-plastic prototypes are harder to work with than fiberglass-fiberglass prototypes. We are not sure where something went wrong but when Paul dropped his car off on Friday for the final test fitment before mold production stage the bumper didn’t fit right. Underneath the passenger side headlight the bumper didn’t sit snug and on the driver side the case was the same just not as extreme. As you can see in the pictures below the bumper had to be cut on either side to give the bumper play in order to fit snug. The passenger side was so extreme that a new piece had to be put in and re-molded into the prototype.
The pictures you see below were taken around 7pm on February 19, 2005, and by the following week we will have updated pictures of the new fitment. So far we are still on schedule for the March 14, 2005 date that we will have them in stock. We will have them a week or so before that but not plenty, we say March 14, 2005 to give us time to have plenty kits made to stock.
If you have any questions or comments feel free to ask. Majority questions are if we will sell in a full kit and the answer is yes. The side skirts and rear lip are from the Vengeance lip kit that we have on our project car, the problem is the car is in Alabama. Our plan is to have the front bumper done and installed on our project car to show at the Daytona Scion Exposed event. The Monday following the Daytona Scion Exposed event the sides and rear lip will be sent to California to have the mold made and 1-2 weeks is all the time needed to make the two molds. We are figuring the complete kit can be shipped somewhere in the middle of April, we will have a confirmed date after the Daytona Scion Exposed event.

I LOVE the looks of the fogs on this more than the stock option...
I'll wait til someone that's not a lying thieving a$$monkey puts it out though...
Question:
Would it look odd to have this front kit and nothing on the sides or rear?
i think they really design that from M3 or something and i wanna know if this kit available for the public... cant wait to have it!! i would not going to buy at tctunerz.com
damn I remember when they were taking preorders in like November. It was suppose to come out in March. haha. One thing I learned since owning the tC is to never preorder something that's not even made yet!
you could do it like that if you want, but if im getting a kit then im gonna go for the whole thing.
it says in the text that they are using it with the sides and back or their vengance kit.
I'm guessing you could use whatever, like on need for speed underground.
