There is also a regular ultra white (5150K), but now kryton series made a new and improved one. stating it's bigger, better and lasts longer now and brighter as well. should i get that or get titanium white (5500K)?

Honestly, Even if it isn't an epidemic, I wouldn't trust anything with wattages higher than stock, but if thats your perogative. I know making a new harness will help too, so hopefully you'll consider that. :D

I'd go with the titanium whites. Better ratings IMHO.

Colored glass on headlights = lower performance.

But I guess if you only care about changing the color then it doesn't really matter.

i have always used luminics with their upgrade wire harness and it seems to be fine so i'm not worried about it melting. the only problem is they are NOT bright at all!!!

and i know that the higher the kelvin temp, the more light output you lose.
