i ran across kevin from NIAbodykits.com and he said he was lookin for a tc with a stock bumper to try the fitment of a new front lip hes working on. so i was all for it and met him at his shop. fitment is nice and flush and it looks clean, eeven more so if it was painted. these are the pics of the lip mounted on my rs1. feedback would be great.

 

Looks pretty clean, except I'd make sure the edges near the wheel go in a little more to blend and not stick out.

 

even if it was painted, it kinda looks like an after-thought... just tacked on to lower the ground clearance... not enough of a difference from the HD lip... needs more shaping to make it stand out and incorporate it into the stock bumper more... but for a first attempt, not too shabby...

now if the car was lowered, hmmm..... (you asked for feedback...)

 

how's it mounted? i have mixed feelings about it....maybe itll look better painted

Not really feeling how it's just attached to the bottom of the bumper, maybe if it was molded into the bumper it would look better but as it is, I'm not too impressed.

I like it. Clean, simple and not too big. Most of the other lips are so bulky and huge. That lip looks more OEM than the OEM does.

Wish you would have painted it before posting though. Paint it and get some more pics!

It would look 'incorporated' into the bumper just fine if it was painted to match. Its just primered guys. Use your imagination.

looks ok, although a little plain. would be better if it was molded on IMO.

 

It looks like a failed attempt at copying the WRX lips.






It also looks like they didn't really try to flow it with the body at all on the sides. It finishes off as a square at the roundest part of the bumper.

 

G-Damn! Some of you people are so picky lol. I like it! Is this going to be a full kit? What are expected prices? dates? I am definitely excited to see this finished.
