Summer is coming to an end in SoCal, so I washed my car and put my carbon fiber hood back on. I also got a oem-style trunk lip spoiler. Enjoy.

the Kellogg's "K" logo is there because I work at Cal Poly Pomona, which was founded by W.K. Kellogg (the cereal guy). its just my way of showing school spirit. its actually from a K-series sticker for a Honda.


I live in Diamond Bar, which is barely the beginning of the 909.
I took off the hood because the summer sun will make it fade and turn yellow faster (all CF fades and turns yellow over time from direct sunlight). With all my cars I always take off the CF hood during Summers.

its a E46 M3 style spoilker I had cut to fit the hatch glass


i sold my old MotorFX hood and bought a VIS hood. Definite difference in quality.


i usually dont like chrome, but i like black-chrome. Until recently, SSR did not offer the "Super Black Coat" to the USA. So at the time I got them (through a small shop who special ordered them from Japan), they were straight JDM LOL. Now you can get that finish through Tire Rack, but they wont sell my specs (which is why i didnt order through them).

 

any reason you opted for the painted lip spoiler instead of a cf one?
