^^^^^I have no reason to lie, and even less reason to convince you... Chris, Doc, and countless others have picked them up and know they don't weigh a damn thing.

BTW that photochop is sick....

he basically recasts the round part of the rims. Imagine laying down the rims and cutting out the center so it looks like a blank "O" thats the part he makes lightweight....then a Auto Cad lazer guided program copies the rim and he recasts it. basically re-using the spokes. the backside of the spokes has some rough edges, but they arent visible unless the wheel if off the car. He doesnt re-do the whole rim, becuase obviously that would require making the entire rim from scratch with nothing as framework. I don't know all the detail, becuase he lives oin the east coast and obviously I wasnt there. But i Can have him write something up to better explain the process. We came up with the idea when he explained how they machine lightweight replacement pulleys, chutes, for the older heavie parts on some NASA projects, airplanes, etc.

The headlights and vinyl are the only things I dislike. The towhook looks fine to me.
The green has been done pretty good.

a simple NO would be fine lol... im guessing then your answer is NO on the manf. stamps or normal rim stamps manf. put on the rim....interestesting.

sorry, I miss read your ?. the inside of the rim doesnt have anything, but the small brim connected to the spokes is the original, so that stuff is till there. If you inside the rims, you can see where he connected the original piece to the part he recast. so it still has those on my set. i belive that the second time around when he made his second set, he redid them entirely for that guy, so those where a "badgeless" set.

dude you're just retarded

re-cast = cast wheel

you don't melt an pour it in a mold to forge a wheel. learn manufuacturing processes before you ____ing lie.

forged wheels don't do this either

that was not thecast wheel... those where the 17 inch rims, not the 18's...I've had three accidents in this car....the 18's were cast after the accident with the honda racing. the 18's are the ones that are cast.... I will post pics of the back of the new wheels later today so you can see what I'm talking about....

I have better things to do than lie on a national forum, especially when members of my team and other teams I know are on here everyday, I'm not stupid, nor despereate. The 18's are the ones cast after the accident with a hatch, NOT the accident on the freeway which is what the picture is from.
